Font Awesome supports and works out-of-the-box in the following web browsers. If your browser isn't listed, it probably works there too.

There are a ton of ways to use Font Awesome icons - as Web Fonts or SVGs, in a hosted Kit or self-hosted, with extra styling or just as a static icon. We do our best to make sure things work in as many places as possible by building with solid, web-standards-based tech.

But there are tons of browsers these days - with more sprouting up or forking all the time - so we support and make sure to regularly test the following browsers:

We support Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and most Blink-based browsers (opens new window) for the last 2 major and enterprise (opens new window) versions, and iOS latest and Android 4+ on mobile.

Firefox (Gecko)

We support Firefox and many Firefox-based Gecko browsers (opens new window) for the last 2 major and ESR (opens new window) versions, and iOS latest and Android 4+ on mobile.

Safari (WebKit)

We support Safari and many modern WebKit-based browsers (opens new window) for the last 2 major versions, and iOS 9+ on mobile.

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is not supported (though Microsoft Edge is supported).

Other Browsers

If a browser isn't named above and you're having trouble, your best bet is to reach out to the Font Awesome (opens new window) or browser communities for support.
