Is there a Free plan?

Yes, you can start for Free with Font Awesome! And there's no trial period. You can add Font Awesome Free icons to your heart's content, and we won't pull the rug out from under you. Oh, and we never sell your data - it's really free.

Do I get Font Awesome 7 with my current plan?

Yes! If you have an active Pro subscription, you’re all set. You’ll get access to FA 7 in June, along with updates to all our core icon packs (Classic, Sharp, etc). Your current plan (even if it’s one we no longer offer) and pricing stay the same for life.

How do I upgrade and use a discount code?

It’s a few steps, but here’s how to apply your promo code:

On this page, click “Get Pro+”

Click “Upgrade in Stripe”

In the Stripe portal, click “Update Subscription”, then select Pro+, and click Continue

On the confirmation screen, click “Add Promotion Code”, enter your code, and click Apply

You’ll see your new discounted rate, with any remaining subscription time pro-rated. Click Confirm and you’re all set!

Do I have to upgrade to Pro+?

An upgrade to Pro+ is entirely optional. It includes access to our new icon packs like Chisel, Jelly, Hotdog, and more. If you want those, you can upgrade to a Pro+ plan with a lifetime discount. We’ll also pro-rate your current plan so you don’t lose any time or value you’ve already paid for.

How are Pro+ plans different?

The new Pro+ plan levels are functionally the same as our Pro plan levels, except they also come with access to our new Pro+ icon packs, as well as any new Pro+ icon packs that are released. Pro+ plans also come with more bandwidth, more pageviews, more kits, and more custom icon uploads than their Pro counterparts.

Do Pro Plans come with other benefits?

You betcha! All our plans come packed with a ton of goodies, like our awesome icon styling toolkit (which works with your custom icons too!), auto and custom subsetting for great performance, a perpetual license to the latest version of Font Awesome released during your active plan, continual software and icon updates, a bunch of official plugins and components, access to the Font Awesome API, and Actual Human Support.

What's a Pageview?

Each time one of your pages containing a Font Awesome Kit's embed code is viewed, a pageview is counted. Pageviews are counted on a monthly basis and reset each month.

What's Package Bandwidth?

Each time one of your projects load Font Awesome Pro assets via a Package Manager (like npm) or Plugin, the size of the data transferred is recorded as Package Bandwidth - which is counted on a monthly basis and reset each month.

How does Metered Billing work?

If you use a service and reach your purchased Plan's monthly limit, Metered Billing allows you to avoid that service being deactivated as well as icon interruptions in your projects. Instead you'll be billed for any additional using a flat rate for the remainder of the month. Metered Billing only takes effect when you exceed your purchased Plan's monthly limits and can be enabled or disabled per service at any time.

How do I manage and add seats?

Each plan comes with some seats included. If you need more, you can add more seats when you purchase your plan, or after purchase - considering your organization and clients. If you're already on a plan, you can keep track of seats assignments in your Account.

Heads up: People allocated to your seats won't have official Font Awesome accounts.

How do I know which Plan to choose?

Our Pro plans are the best value - giving you access to all of our pro icons and full access to our toolkit. If you have a big team or big project, our Pro Max plans are geared towards you. And if you only need icons for web projects, our online-only Pro Lite plans are a good choice. Our support page has more detail about differences in what you can and can't do with Pro Lite licenses.

How do I upload my own icons?

You can upload your own SVG icons to any Pro Kit and serve them reliably right alongside your Font Awesome icons. Kits are the easiest and most performant way to use Font Awesome on the web, and now with Kit Icon Upload, they're also the most extendable.
